People are having to eat like its post ww2 :(. While the governments buy and sell bombs and crap they dont need. Social kitchens that cook large batches are a way better idea than handouts. Not everyone is capable of cooking or having the means to do so.

I’m cooking more lentil pasta bakes and other bakes and rice puddings and bread and butter pudding and toasted vegetables and eggs. Thankful to my mum who grew up in the Great Depression . She always said ‘if you’ve got a potato youve got a meal’. The Irish side of her. But we never saw a hungry day in the fifties and sixties. And we shared with neighbours . We skimped and scraped and even begged occasionally but we survived on budget meals

The pink salmon is a type of salmon. It is the smallest of the salmon varieties. It also is the most prevalent of the salmon species. That’s why it is cheaper not because it’s quality is low. It has a a lighter flavour than most salmon. It is watery because it is softer than other salmon types. This can be solved by salting fish and letting it sit 2-4 hours in fridge. I suggest looking things up like this you came off as very judgmental of something that isn’t lower quality just different.

When I only go out for a few hours, I take off my shirt and turn it inside out and hang it on a hanger and then hang it up somewhere to ‘air out’. Stays fresher longer !

I think Covid taught me how to save money. I quit shopping for 2 years and was so happy I saved 17k during that time. I’ve lost half due to inflation but I’m trying again to just not go shopping and staying home to declutter. I saved $800 this month but my AC is broke so I’m sure it will take what I’ve saved to fix it. Love your videos btw

I changed my meat delivery to Good Chop and just got my first box. It was missing some steaks. I ordered the cod for a dinner get together. Cooked the same way I always do. It was inedible. Rubbery no flaking. Had to throw it all out. I called and they refunded the steaks but blew me off about the cod. I’m going to give them another chance. Hope it works out! Just my opinion. I’m not trying to say don’t shop with them.

My favorite TV show to watch over and over is old ones- Brady Bunch and Gilligan's Island. I LOVE those 2 shows!! You want to know my favorite Seinfeld show?! The one where they are lost in the parking garage and can't find their car and Elaine has a fish in a bag that she just bought and she is afraid that it is going to die. Kramer has to go to the bathroom so darn bad and can't wait!! He is complaining the whole time!! Jerry just can't find the car and then when most of the cars are gone from the parking garage, he finally finds the car, hours later!! I crack up at how they are all complaining and can't find the car!!
